IP Address or Host Name:  

What is an IP address? Every computer connected to the Internet has a unique identifier called an IP address.
On many networks, the IP address of a computer is always the same.
On other networks, a random IP address is assigned each time a computer connects to the network.

What this IP Lookup does?

DNS Lookup (IP Lookup)The DNS lookup converts a host name to Internet IP address of the form xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Reverse DNS Lookup (reverse IP Lookup)The DNS reverse lookup converts an Internet IP address to host name (useful to identify the domain name of a spammer sending you spam email).
General Proxy LookupThe proxy lookup detects whether you are using a proxy server and shows the proxy host/type information and your actual IP address ("forwarded for" IP), if available. (detailed proxy check)
Geographic IP Location (IP to Country)The geographic IP location discovers the origin country of an IP address.
IP WhoisThe IP whois allows you to find out who an IP address belongs to.
RBL (Realtime Block List) LookupThe blocklist lookup allows you to find whether an IP address is listed in the following public blocking lists: SpamCop, SBL, XBL, CBL, NJABL and SORBS.
